Framed Pet Memorial Heart

We lost our beloved black lab back in March 2020 just before the Corona 19 lockdown. It took a while before we could collect Freddie's ashes and once we did it just seemed wrong to leave him in the box on the dresser.

I wanted us all to "see" him everyday and still be part of our lives, this loyal friend who had given us all so much. I wanted something tasteful, something that reflected the place he had in our family so I came up with this idea, a paw print made with his ashes surrounded by a little bit of heaven sprinkled with a few stars fused between two heart shaped pieces of art glass.

The hearts are aprroximately 12 cm across and the box frames are 23.5cm square.

To make this memorial art work I will need you to post about a tablespoon of your pets ashes to me. Please rest assured that I will take great care of your four legged friends remains. Any ashes that I don't use will be posted back to you when I send your finshed memorial heart.

I hope that if you have been lucky enough to share your life with a much loved animal that this could help them still be a part of your life, by offering you a way to remember them and to honour that friendship.
