The rugged North Cornwall coast is home to the studio of Pink House Glass. A stones throw from the coastal town of Bude, Amanda the artist behind Pink House Glass creates beautiful Cornish inspired fused and kilnformed glass.

"I was given a voucher for the One to One Course for a significant birthday and cannot express just how much fun I had spending a day with Amanda losing myself in the wondrous world of glass fusing! I had never tried glass fusing before and the thought of cutting glass made me feel a bit nervous but Amanda's help and expertise had me cutting glass like a pro in no time at all. I felt confident that I could produce a piece of fused glass to be proud of. Amanda explained how I could put my new glass cutting skills into practise to create my design, with lots of guidance and help when I needed it. "Every year we go away as a big family group and book on to an activity that we can all participate in. We had clear guidelines and info sent before the course so knew what we would be able to make. Amanda made room for all eight of us in her spacious studio. With a range of ages, skill sets and abilities, Amanda helped each of us through the different stages of making our trinket dishes and suncatchers. There was ample selection of coloured glass, with many things we had never heard of to add to our chosen design! The Cornish cream tea was delicious with vegans and gluten free family members catered for too. We all came away having had a such a fun afternoon and collected our trinket dishes and suncatchers a few days later. We would definitely recommend this jam packed afternoon course." Caroline.
